VERSAPRINT ... Exclusive to APS

High Smash Resistance

Great Paper versatility is enabled by the reduced tendency of ink/paper build up combined with an excellent ability to recover from a smash. A high resistance to abrasion, makes Versaprint a real "all purpose" blanket capable of printing on a wide variety of substrates on different finishes (coated, uncoated, gloss and matt) of differing grammages.

  Reduced Re-Packing

The compressible layer offers exceptionally fast recovery after every blanket/plate and blanket/impression nip because of the high air pressure within the cells of the compressible layer and the long life of the materials themselves. This combined with the pre-stretched carcass delivers a blanket that will sink minimally over millions of impressions. Versaprint offers high and constant pressure in the nip areas throughout the life of the blanket.

Leader in technical innovation

Versaprint is manufactured by Rollin in France, globally known as the manufacturers of premium blankets, and world leaders in innovative printing technology. Printers around the world are looking for dramatic product innovations that can offer an economical or a technical edge rather than marginal product improvements. After having invented the compressible blanket in 1954, the self adhesive business forms blanket in 1962 and the non-pack newspaper blanket in 1976, MacDermid Graphic Arts kept on making great strides in R & D and are the only blanket manufacture today having 4 exclusive patents in their blanket range.

Excellent Reproduction

The surface compound of Versaprint provides the blanket with a large transfer co-efficient (65%) that permits optimum coverage of both solids and halftones. The combinations of limited dot gain and high print densities makes it possible to print with ideal contrast values.

Certified Quality Consistency

In a printing industry that becomes increasingly competitive, customers can no longer afford time and money consuming press downtimes linked to the use of consumables of inconsistent quality. To make sure that printers around the world gets blankets of comparable quality delivery after delivery, MacDermid Graphic Arts - Rollin decided to follow the ISO route in the early 1990's and was the first offset blanket manufacturer worldwide to become ISO 9001 certified in 1993. Today all MacDermid Graphic Arts production sites have either ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 certifications.
